M. Watson travaille dans le domaine de la sécurité depuis maintenant plus de 20 ans.  À ces débuts il fut officier de sécurité dans une tour à bureaux de l’avenue McGill Collège au centre-ville de Montréal. Il occupa par la suite le poste de Chef de sécurité à la Place Mercantile. M. Watson déménagea par la suite  à Bromont, Québec afin de prendre en charge la gestion du service de sécurité à la nouvelle usine d’assemblage de voitures Hyundai.  Sept ans plus tard, suite à la fermeture de l’usine, il est revenu à Montréal en tant que Coordonnateur de sécurité chez CAE Inc, poste qu’il détient toujours, CAE est un chef de file en formation et simulation de vol tant au niveau commercial que militaire.

Chez CAE Inc ses fonctions incluent; la gestion d’un groupe d’officiers et d'agents en sous-traitance, la gestion de l’installation et le maintient des systèmes de surveillance et de contrôle d’accès à la fine  pointe de la technologie, la gestion du programme de sécurité industrielle (vérification de sécurité) et le maintien des besoins en sécurité dans les centres de formation à travers le monde. 

M. Watson est un membre actif de ASIS depuis 1990, il apprécie grandement les nombreux contacts que cet organisme lui apporte ainsi que le développement éducatif offert.

M. Watson a complété le programme de gestion de sécurité à l’Université Concordia en 1986 et est détenteur des accréditations professionnel suivantes:

·     Certified Protection Officer (CPO) de l’International Foundation for Protection Officers (IFPO) -1991

·     Physical Security Professional (PSP) d’ASIS International -2003

Mr. Watson has worked in the security field for over 20 years, beginning as a security officer at a high-rise office tower on McGill College Ave in downtown Montreal then moving as Chief of Security at Place Mercantile.  From there Mr. Watson moved to Bromont, Quebec to head the Security dept at the new Hyundai car assembly plant.  Upon the plant closing 7 years later, he returned to Montreal for his current position as Security Coordinator at CAE Inc., the world leader in Commercial and Military Simulation and Training.

At CAE Inc. his duties include managing a contract protection officer force, installing and maintaining a state of the art access control and surveillance system, overseeing a military clearance program and supporting security needs at training centers worldwide. 

In 1990 Mr. Watson joined ASIS and has benefited greatly from the vast number of contacts he has made and educational development offered.

Mr. Watson completed a certificate program in Security Management at Concordia University in 1986.  He now holds the following accreditations:

·    Physical Security Professional (PSP) from ASIS International -2003
